Chevrolet 4X4 and CCKW Brackets ain't quite the same. They Bolt on the same, but have differences. Study your SNL to discover the difference. Both are scarce.

Do you have a page number for the SNL-G508. I couldn't find a pic of the tire carrier.

Should be in Group 1500 somewhere, that is where Chassis Parts as it is a Bracket that bolts to it. Try your Index, it may say Bracket, Spare tire or somthing close.

From memory:

The Y model Chev spare tire bracket is different from the later Z and N models. There are a lot of things different between the Y and others land the CCKWX and later trucks.

CCKW LWB had two different Levers, because of air borne Chassis. Not all LWB had the side mounted Bracket assy, especially Gas and Water Tank body trucks, and some vans. Chev 4X4 had differences in Lever. All will interchange.
