I took my first long distance (100 miles one way) drive in my truck this weekend. I don't know why you guys like these trucks.
There are no cupholders.
The heater is stuck on full blast all the time.
The A/C is broken.
There is no place to plug in an Ipod.
The truck just won't go over 45.
You can't turn off the seat massager.
Everyone can pass you.
Even the slightest rise causes you to lose speed.
You can't shut off the air vents.
Neil
p.s. Of course I am just kidding.
Why do you guys love these piece of crap trucks?

Well Neil
You obviously haven't screwed that empty "canned fruit tin" to the floor yet
The effectiveness of the heat and a/c is directly related to the "latitude" you operate your vehicle in
What's an Ipod ?
My CCKW regularly goes 45mph downhill
At my age I like the back massage ( cause I sure won't get one at home )
Yes...but... when they pass you can look down in the car and "check out those short skirts"
Don't worry you will make up for it on the other side ( see previous 45 mph answer)
Why would you want to hold your breath ?
Cheers

We love these trucks
Neil,
Two important items to add to the CCKW for those road trips.
A roll of OD duct tape (Duck Tape) on the floor board makes a perfect "GI" cup holder.
And for those pesky high speed honking passing drivers that give you a one finger salute, you can add the "special CCKW roll up winter front / friendly driver response device on the front of your truck". Just roll down the window shade when ever you want to signal a fellow traveler. Photo attached.
Our friends in the UK have a great sense of humor about these things.

I've done 100 Mile runs in my CCKW lots of times. What fun.
