Not military but very similiar to the CCKW crane truck...

This area is for ebay, Craigslist, GSA, Government Liquication or other auctions. It should include auctions for WWII trucks, parts, trailers, and directly related equipment and accessories, for CCKW, Chevrolet 1.5 ton, US-6, M5-6, DUKW, and WWII trucks larger than 2.5 ton vehicles only.

Just found this on ebay.

It is interesting to look at that and see how similiar it is to the CCKW crane truck.

I know that Dr.Deuce has a CCKW crane truck. Possibly he can shed some light on the smiliarities. That's if he is up to it of course :D.

I believe that the crane is newer than my Annie. The Bantam crane is a nice rig, I use mine all the time

As I recall, the Trucksel conversion had 2 axles facing each other with a 2 speed gearbox between them that was driven by the truck.

The owner did a good job of glossing up something that he is gonna have to pay to have scrapped. There is an abundance of good used cable operated Cranes that will run. Construction Bargaineer and Rock and Dirt are full of them. Problem is transportation, it ain't gonna get hauled off cheap. Love that 55 Gallon Drum Gas Tank that needs cleaning ( If it had more that a few gallons of rusty gas, it would be an environmental issue to clean) . PT Barnum would love this one, and the kid can now claim "crane operator" to his resume. Wonder how the next owner will get rid of it.
