I'll bet that that is one heavy load!
The trailer is about 5,000 lbs and a CAT genset, well they never missed a meal at the cast iron foundry.....
My Searchlight Trailer with the Clark Airborne Dozer in it is about 9,400 lbs! I know it is behind the cargo truck and that is with the 160 hp 1956 civy GMC 302 engine! I towed it ONCE with the original 270. I get 6.5 mpg normally, with an occassional burst to 7 mpg. Towing the SL trailer and dozer I got 5.9 mpg measured with 2 fill-ups. I thought I would get 2 mpg!
