A picture taken of the UK Red Ball Crew, the 514th, by someone named "Odd Ball"....

Great photo, the 514th went to a small village fete at the weekend and the country lane's made for some good photo opportunities but I could not get the hole convoy in shot on the move. Oddball let us use some of his other photos from the day on our web page.

I wonder if there was a rear guard jeep and a 50 cal support cckw in the front of convoy as required.

We had a Halftrack with 50 cal up front and a Dodge WC63 at rear guard, also had the forth truck (Karoshi's) with a gun ring as required.

It has got to be said, it is a fine looking truck and she run's great now the brakes have been finished, I had trouble catching him on them country lanes 8) .
