It is a very nice truck, thats for sure...
Have anyone of you thought on how many shop-van variations it was???
Lets play a little with it..
We do know it was 41 different interiors on the ST5 and ST6 bodies.
So if all 41 different interiors went on both ST5 AND ST6 we have 82 different shop-vans...
And further; if both ST5 and ST6 was used on both open and closed cabs, we have a total of 164 different GMC Shop vans....
And we do know they were used on both Timken Split and GMC Banjo axels, so then the number is 328 different shop vans
I think I'll stop here, and let you guys figure out if there is more of them
but have in mind different engines, different hydrovacs and all the other improvements that came along the line.
And yes, this lovely truck has the roofhatch, but most of them did not. That alone should make yet a lot more of them... and then there is the K53 bodies
Anybody that would line them up please??

I confirm, this is a very nice truck and it runs pretty well. This truck belongs to Francis, wo's a member of this forum. It did the entire Way of liberty, from Utah beach to Bastogne, without any problem. (Like mine). Jeeps, and even Dodges, are more delicate.
