I would like to talk to somoene from WW2 who actually fired one of these things. They HAVE to be deaf....

Now that is what I call fire power on a truck. That makes that jeep with a fifty on it look really weak. :lol: . Great photo.

:shock: kinda makes you think twice about tailgating :lol: I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing on of these babies in action a few years back at the Hiram / Maxim machine gun shoot held at the inventors home town of Dover Foxcroft , Maine. It was a awsome display of firepower, they had several cars and a bus at the back of a gravel pit and I can tell you it shreaded them in very short order ,very, very impressive, I would not want to be on the receiving end of that puppy :!: OH yea forgot to mention they had it mounted on a trailer.

I have a Quad 50 and it's going in the back of an M35A2... Vietnam guntruck...

I have sat in one of those gun turrets that was on the back of a half track. The guns were not functional though :evil:
The armor plate that protects the gunner leaves a lot to be desired.

We are all going to the Military Odyssey show in two weeks time, there are plans to fire a quad 50cal (on a M16 Halftrack) at a German plane in the main battle (blanks only), should be good to see, £2000 in ammo though :shock: .
