Photo of the week
Nice Truck and Trailer. Really like the canvas doors.
One thing I have never understood is the European collectors fasination with draping large diameter rope on the front bumpers of large trucks. Especially when they have a winch? WWII Jeeps, OK tow rope on the front bumper - documented. But on a CCKW? Seems like they have to put it on every truck. Even on 2 1/2 ton M35's! I like to see authentic kit lashed to the vehicles but I vote to loose the "tow" rope. At least off the winch models.
I never knock another persons vehicle. It's a huge job to preserve them and get them out and rolling. I just think the rope thing is overdone on trucks larger than a Jeep or maybe a Dodge.
Thanks

Great photo , as usual, and I love all the stuff on the truck. Especially the water bucket on the jerry can.

Yep - gets my vote!
I think we all like to see kit on our trucks because it does tell a part of the story but on a practical sense I don't think rope would last long on a bumper as it would be cut to bits with the amount of stones that would be kicked up by the vehicle in front!
The 352 seems to be perfectly scaled!

I have had a large diameter rope on the bumper of my LWB cargo for years now. Rocks are not a problem. Sunfading is.
