thank,s bill glad to get the picture on the cckw. this truck is a m426 5-ton 4x2, tractor [C.O.E. ] engine is a450 red diamond, build by ih. three company build this truck ih, marmon-herrington and kenworth. i,m not sure of its date, 44- 45 . or the builder . data plate gone. they were use by the red ball express, hauled gas , food, material during ww2. also these truck,s were use during the berlin air lift., many of the truck,s were left in europe after the war. also in japan. i,m still working on the body, that why some of the item,s are missing. the odometer has 8 thousand on it. i hope to have it in the parade down the road. wendell

that IS sweet.

The beginning of this video shows a lot of these type of trucks running the Red Ball express.
