While I seldom voice a negative comment about someone elses vehicle, I must say here that while the Truck and Trailer pictured look great, the crude profanity stenciled on the fuel tank do nothing to further our hobby or our history.

I'm no saint and I've sent some profanity into the air myself in the shop from time to time when things don't go right, but painting the "F" word on the side of a historic vehicle that will be shown to the public sends the wrong message.

Even if some GI did it in WWII and the camera recorded it, we all need to watch our image. There are enough people who don't like anything military and we don't need to pass them more ammunition to take away our privilages.

I did not see the stencilling (my eyes must be getting bad) I am there with you on your comment , its not what you put on any vehicle full stop ... You get enough attention driving these old trucks

I don't know if it was stock, but I see that owner did what I did with my M1 Searchlight Trailer: He added horizontal strips to the bow assy. With out them, I mad it 2 miles befor most of the uprights had broken. They are sooo long (tall) that the bows get going back and forth without the added stability of the others to help.
