Hi all, from Norway. We are some guys who are preserving our trucks from ww2 and most of all are we enjoying the jimmy. But we are thinking about installing Fenton Headers due to constant problems with cracking of exhaust-manifold. Any body here with the same problem or experience with the Fenton headers?
And Yes, we will also go for the heat plate.
And one of our members have a strong need for a spare manifold to his Diamond 968 Cargo.Due to cracking all tips and hints will be appreciated.
Keep them rolling...
Any experience with Fenton Headers?

On a Jimmy, you will have problems with fuel vaporization if you do not have heat under the carb.

And thats why we will have the heat plate.
Hi all again this problem is why we will go for the heat plate too, so the fuel will get the right temperature.
But the problem with the exhaust collector pipe is a bigger problem, anyone with the same problem?

No problems if proper attention is paid to the manifold as it ages.
They do wear out in time, but will last longer if valve is kept in summer position.
