GMC ENGINE PAINT

Eastwood has the nice GMC Olive color Engine enamel in 1 Qt Cans. Pricy, they advertise in Hemmings.
I still recommend to paint new Exhaust Pipes and Mufflers with the Hi Temperature Aluminum Paint available at favorite Auto and Hardware stores. Mine have kept a smooth silver finish for years. It avoids the rusty finish which all too soon becomes pitted.
The mufflers will still rust out from within from normal use, and are unique to the GMC. I am hoping to find a couple spares in Europe. So far the ones I have bought are mostly dated 43-45. The GM stamped ones produce the familiar GMC engine sound, others may not quite sound the same.
