There was a special hose located at the chassis splice on the LH frame rail. There was also a two-way valve assembly to prevent brake fluid loss.

There are a lot of CCKWs from Europe that are not airborne, but have the airborne cab.

The ledge at the top of the Dash where the Open cap Windshield bolts on, that portion is removeable to lower cab height to fit certain Aircraft.

You will not a splice plate at the base of the windshield at the cowl. Most observers will have the impression that this is a repair to the cab.
