The GMC CCKW

Two versions were built, the early was the M-27 with a modified Wood Cargo Body, and the M-27B1 with modified Composite Steel Body. The body for both versions was built by Heil. I am slowly collecting the specialized tools that went with the M-27 Trucks.

Did these truck bodies have manufacturers data plates on them?

All tactical Army truck bodies had manufacturers plates on them.
