LATE STEEL COMPOSITE CARGO BODY FEATURE

Post by joel gopan »

Easy to spot in WWII Period photographs, and Post War USA Service by the tie downs for the tarp made of wire stock, and the Linked Splash Shields that are flexible. If you look closely the method of securing the Tailgate is different from earlier Steel Cargo Body, and the brackets securing the Right and Left taillight housing are bolted to the rear of the body and not welded as on earlier Steel Cargo Body.
