The GMC CCKW

Some collectors remark that they injure their right hand while shifting into 2nd, 5th, or Reverse in their Closed Cab CCKW because of the dash board. Apparantly there are minor injuries from striking knuckls on the controls.
A new Shifting Cover will cure that.

Mine has a NOS Cover and there is ample room.

Chevy's with the ashtray out (early ones and civy ones) are notorious for this when the shifter gets just a little loose.

That is why they had spare parts.

Mine are all at least a little loose.

I don't think I have ever seen a tight one!
