The GMC CCKW

I am still looking for a rim for a CCKW to use as a spare on my new carrier I just got from Corne'. Now one of you guys out there bound to have one that just needs a good cleaning so I can have a spare.

Thanks for the response Chris T . I am not picky on dates. Just need to have something for that Dutch spare tire bracket to hold.

But Iam sure you will find them overthere in the US

I sure hope so as the freight to here is kind of prohibitive, but I am anxious to dress up that carrier I got from you.

I have one on the way, thanks to Chris T. Is this a great site with a great bunch of guys or what? Where else could you get so much help on these old trucks and have the opportunity to correspond with some really great people. Thank Chris T. for the rim and Bill for the site.

I agree,without this site getting the parts I need for my compressor truck would have been a hundred times harder. a big thanks to Bill for the site and to all the guys on here

If you weren't so far, I'd ship the rim with a spare truck attached.

AD, it is really nice have Chris about a 20 min drive from here. There has been many times that he has helped me with parts and advice.
