The GMC CCKW

I have an M-1 Bomblift Truck, it is made by Weaver. They were part of the equipment issued with M-27 CCKW Bomb Service Truck, and the M-6 Chevrolet Bomb Service Truck. It is NOS, and came from Dow Field in 1949 when the 14th Fighter Group was disbanded. They are mounted on 3 wheels that use 500X4 Aircraft Tires, mine are dated 1943 and cracked, but are OK for a while.It is pulled by a T-Handle, and has a hydraulic Platform. I display it along with my CCKW. I would like to find 3 NOS 5.00X4 Aircraft Tires to put on it.

Guess what??? A matched NOS WWII Set of 3 showed up on E-Bay, and I got lucky after 15 years of looking, I also found a dozen NOS WWII Inner tubes for same in original boxes. I have one more NOS M-1 Bomb Lift Cart to pick up and it will be going to a Museum.
