Any list or photos of what equipment and tools that followed the trucks from the factory?

Hi Rolf,
Do you mean the actual vehicle tool and spare parts kit which came with all CCKW's or special equipment on such as shop vans, compressor trucks etc? I have details of both the early and late CCKW tool and spare parts kits.
Matt.

I was thinking on both...
I know all GMC's with winch had a snap-block coming with them. What does it look like? And was there any thing else like this delivered with the trucks?
To mention all the equipment in a shop van can be a bit long I guess, but I do know many would like to know. Almost all the shop-vans sold on auctions in Norway had had the interior removed and sold seperatly (only God knows why I guess...)
All the very interessting info I read here, goes into my mind, and hopefully I am able to use it in our magazine to "enlighten" all the GMC owners in Norway that rather use their Volvo Lapplander instead of the GMC on MV-meetings.
And I also guess I'll be more and more interssted in getting myself a GMC.... I have been most into Canadian Chevrolets for many Years

I have a NOS Snatch Block that was packed with a new 1945 CCKW 353 (USA 4819485) we bought after WWII at Boston Army Base. I can take a pic this weekend.
