Can the windshield wipers be rebuilt?

In the vacuum chamber is grease as a lubricant, if this is old it becomes hard. If you open the wiper and remove the old grease and put new in the wiper motor functions as new. It is easy to do by your self on the kitchen table. :wink:

I did the same job on the motors of my 3/4ton Dodge truck. Was pretty simple!!! After having cleaned the chambers and all moving parts, oiled or greased them, the motors worked a lot better :wink:

I had good luck with my original motors in opening them and giving them a through cleaning and a bit of lubrication , they came back to life and worked well . I think too that I purchased rebuild kits from a MV dealer , not sure what happened to them .
