Chevy 1 1/2 ton on Ebay
Ebay number 4610652762 lists a 1 1/2 ton WWIi chevy truck. The truck has boreing equipment attached to the original bed. This one may go real cheap.

Pole auger truck??
There are a few things visible, that make me suspect it might have started life as an auger truck rather than a cargo truck. The auger assembly appears to be an original as was mounted on the Chevy 1-1/2 tons for use by the Signal Corps. The second thing is the "periscope" visible in the top of the cab. This was typical of the telephone auger trucks, and I believe also the telephone service truck. I don't have my manuals here to check for sure. The periscope seems to be mounted above the drivers seat, while I seem to recall the originals be centered on the width of the cab.
The combination of the auger with the cargo box is puzzling though...
