I am looking for a CCKW bomb truck to photograph

Post by jagjetta »

Greetings list,
John A-G here (Military Vehicles Magazine)...Say, I am looking for a CCKW bomb truck to photograph. I am located in Wisconsin, but am willing to travel within the U.S. (would be nice if it was in the Midwest).

I sure would appreciate any leads! Thank you very much.

I assume you need one restored?

I almost bought one in GA a number of years ago. I believe it is still down there somewhere

Restored or not

Hey Dr. D!
Restored is good, but unrestored is fine as well. The important thing that I need to photograph is the bomb hoist and associated tackle. Georgia might work.

Thank you!

John,

It looks like the WWII Vehicle Museum in Hubbard Ohio has an M27 Bomb Truck.
