:o All shafts are installed with SLIP JOINT toward front of vehicles,EXCEPT shaft between front axle and transfer case which has SLIP JOINT TOWARD THE REAR OF VEHICLE.

Yesterday I changed my banjo 2-44 front propeller shaft journal in front axle.WHAT DIFFICULT JOB!!!OOPS!!! :P It had a big problem with lubrication because the grease was marron inside two of the trunnion bearing assembly,what indicates water was present.Then the needles were very worn noisly. :D Looking to the two pics we can see the worn of the journal material.
