I never saw a Ford military 1943 engine like this.Generally Ford were with V8 engine. This engine is a flathead six.Its distributor place is different Dodge 1940/1954. Anyone know why? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjDTt0MB80g
Nice looking truck. Should be a good restoration candidate.
The triangular paint mark with three holes on the left front fender is typical of a siren light mount for the 40's truck. This could have been a fire truck when built. Maybe that is why it is a 6 cylinder
