Price is only $800.00 with only two days left. I wish I was not so far a way. Freight would eat me up on that truck.

Bill S:

I assume you know that the winch models were built from part 1 that way and if you add a winch extension to an existing truck, you have to cut the ends of the frame members on the front off by ~6" and that you cannot rivet or possibly bolt on 1 or 2 rivets on each side because of the 1st cross member.

In addition, the front springmounts are different as I recall so if thay are not included, you would need to find them.

A bargain at 5 Grand, it is most likely a 44, note the Rotary Light Switch, and a serious collector will not mind the time involved reconditioning Brakes, engine, seals, Wood, Electrical, and the work necessary to make the sheet metal look new. This is a French army CCKW, and has potential.
Basiccaly the truck is all there, and needs a minimum of work to be pristine. After all it is 60 years later, and it is already in the US which makes it easier for the buyer. Curb Service is not always a function of this hobby. Been there, done that.

GOING, GOING, GONE! It was a STEAL @ $2291.66.
It will not be all that hard to recondition this truck into a @$20,000 vehicle.
Good Luck to the proud owner, hope he looks me up for help.

Mark, I see now your from Anderson, If you don't know Joe McClain from the armor museum, you should, He helped me get my 41 cckw, it was there when we had the MV event in Anderson but I didn't know it was for sale untill after the show, I think the for sale sign must have blown away or something, anyway I called the museum and talked to Joe and he put me in touch with the owner and so thats how I got my 1st cckw. He might be the one to talk to about transporting also..good luck Mick Moore

Congradulations!

You have purchased the finest (my humble opinion) WW2 HMV you can own! It is easy to work on, easy to maintain, has all the WW2 class and history and is soooo much nicer and more comfortable to drive than a Jeep!
