Hi All,
I think I have a CCKW series 200 clark manual transmission in my XM211/M108 Hybrid crane truck. Below is a link to three pictures of the transmission. Could some one positively identify it for me, and if so maybe point me to a manual that covers this beast.

The CCKW manual cover it if it is the Clark 204 V0 transmission. It is impossible to tell from the pictures, though it looks like it and remember that there was a version with direct on 4th (OD on 5th) and direct on 5th (non-OD) and the only way you can tell is to look inside or had it out so you can turn the input shaft and watch the output shaft.

I appreciate the help. I don't know if this will help,but hereis some more of the background on this beast.
Someone along time ago decided to make a crane truck out of an M108 crane body and a XM211 cargo truck.
They needed something to drive the hydraulic pump so they took out the automatic transmission and put that transmission in its place since it had a PTO on it and it fit the m211 engine.
It has OD paint on it so I don't think it was a civilian engine.
I managed to rebuild it enough to get it out from where it was and get it licensed, but a friend actually drove it out for me. I amembarrased to say this but I don't even know the shift pattern, and it has been driving me nuts
just trying to drive it around the block without stalling it out. So any help
along these lines would really be a big help.

M211/135 GMCs as you know had "auto-matics" improperly maintained these trannys were troublesome some enterprising mechanics would change them out with units from CCKWs
But the next problem is /was the Hi/Low speed range was in the tranny on M211/135s and not in the transfer case like the CCKWs
So ..even with a "dependable" manual trans you now had a truck with no low range.

Yes I heard about that nice bit of info. groan...But I also heard that
there was a transfer case tat was built for the civilian equivalent of the M211 that had that low gear range built in. Supposedly it is the same transfer case only the M211 T-case is missing a gear or something..

For what it's worth, a cckw transfer case can be used in an M135 with a manual trans. Both trucks used the dual rear driveshaft set up.

Are the CCKW transfer cases difficult to find, expensive, etc.?
