My Vote is a Federal 7 1/2 Ton C-2 Wrecker Chassis. The Biederman 7 1/2 ton tractor has a similar front end but the fenders are not as flared as the Federal Model

I don't know but I love her lines and look. It would be great to see that heavy weight running again.

Restoration will be very difficult as the tyres are 10.00 x 22. Once very common but now as rare as Yeti poo.
After many hours on the internet and discussing with a local tyre dealer I found two models still in production- a highway tread (Goodyear) at $490 per tyre or a gnarley looking off road tread (Firestone) at $900 per tyre!
YIKES!
If anyone knows where I can find some 10.00 x 22 bias ply tyres (matching tread but don't care if its highway or NDCC) please let me know! I need them for my 90mm M1 AA Gun.
DEGSY IS THE WINNER! (Karoshi...almost but not dead on...honorable mention!)
Thank you to all the experts.
A collector contacted me and presented me with these pictures and the following (below is the un-doctored photo). Unfortunately great trucks in deals like this always seem to be on the wrong coast.
Here is another for your photo collection. It is for sale if you know of anyone who is interested. It's in Los Angeles.
The board has a policy about posting peoples names and phone numbers. Any seriously interested members please PM me and I will provide you with the contact info.
Degsy...PM me your mailing address and I will send you a CCKW ball cap for your great knowledge!
Thats very kind of you Bill but it would be under false pretences, from your comments there were only 2 trucks it could be, I then only had to compare pics in Bart's bible to identify the correct one.
