Betty Boop

Post by jds15151 »

weasel_nut,

Thanks for posting the pic of Betty Boop as the picture of the week. I am her new owner and hope to get some updated pics posted soon. She may never win an award at the National MVPA Convention, but she has come a long way from where she was when Jim (armydriver) found her and began her restoration. It is my hope that I will be able to continue in her restoration and care in a manner that would make Jim proud. What he and his WWII USMC vet friend were able to do with her using only hand tools and simple power tools is pretty amazing. With the help and advice of all of you on this board I look forward to the challenge of carrying on Jim's labor of love. Jeff jds15151

I would certainly have to agree with that. What a tremendous job.
