Can someone who has an airportable or a composite bed please measure the diagonal troop seat support (the one that goes from the front of the seat to the corner of the floor and bed wall).
I am trying to determine if the composite brackets are shorter than the steel bed brackets.
Also how much of an angle are these seats at when deployed. Wjhat is the measurement of the outside edge versus the hinge (inside) edge.
Thanks in advance.

Here ya go Bill
The "leg" lenght is 19" from the center line of the bolt hole to the end
When the seats are in the "lowered" position the seat itself is not parallel to the bed floor but raised at the edge ( where your knees would be )
From the bed floor to the saet back 16"
From the bed floor to the seat front 17 3/4"
(measured to the top of the wood slat)
These measurments taken from my "air-portable "
The dimentions are also the same on my 1 1/2 ton as well
Hope this helps
John

Thanks John,
Not ever having a Cargo before the pitch of the seats just did not look right. My difference is 2" which is justified because the width of PT lumber was 1/4 inch higher than that of the boards it replaced.
From another member's response it looks like the steel floor body uses the same length front legs as the composite. I don't know where the 1.25 inches of floor height gets made up but someone else will have to figure that out.

I don't know where the 1.25 inches of floor height .........
Its an illusion, the floor to seat height is the same, steel or wood. The "extra" 1.1/4 inches is in the wood thickness, which is below the floor in effect.
I have checked my measurements (steel) and they are the same as Johns, + or - a quarter inch.

Thank you Karoshi!
I was unsure whether the stampings for the front and side walls were the same height for all steel and composite. Apparently they are not.
It looks like GM keep the height from the top of floor to top of bed rails the same which would make sense and standardize seat equipment.
I appreciate your help as I had nothing to compare it to.
