I was lucky enough to find this alleged DUKW motor at a Estate liquidation. Supposedly this is the last rebuilt 270 GMC motor that Memphis Equipment had in stock.
It was purchased by the previous owner to replace the blown motor in his CCKW before the owner became terminally ill.
Pictures will explain most here but removal of the valve cover indicates that it was rebuilt. It is unknown what size the pistons are.
You don't see many of these around so I figured I would post it up.

Smart a$$.
Yes it is orange...that is the way Memphis painted it.
What is up with the generator mount. Is that the way the DUKW gen was mounted?
Never seen one like that on standard trucks.
