side pannel
My right side louvered side pannel has a mesh type screen attached to the inside , the truck came out of Norway , and that may be one of there modifications ? The left does not have . Which is correct for US service or how did it come from the factory ??? Thanks Warren Duchesne

Re: side pannel
Screen is early production ,no screen is late production ( or it just got ripped off )
Go to the main page and download Bryce Sunderlin's reprinted articles from Army Motors it's all explained in there as to what production dates the change occured as well as MANY other prodution changes.

Re: side pannel
I thought it was the other way around. I thought the screening was when they added radio suppression measures??

Your right that's when it was added early '42retro-roco wrote:I thought it was the other way around. I thought the screening was when they added radio suppression measures??
But it was deleted in the 3rd quarter '44 at serial number 394577 (approx.) all remaining CCKWs were built without the "screen"
