Shop Van Insulation - Asbestos?

Hi,

Does anyone know for definate whether the insulation used on ST5/ST6 workshop/shop van bodies was asbestos or not? :?

In where system(exhaust,fuel,ignition....) of shop van is this insulation? :roll:

I believe it is wool of glass. :D

The original brake shoes has asbestos in them too.

It was more the insulation between the walls on the shop van body. I accept there might be asbestos dust in the brake shoes and clutch assembly. I was concerned about finding it where I wouldn't be expecting it.

Dont forget most shop vans had a small petrol engine in them so take care at the front of the body, you can never be to sure :? :? I haven't found any in my old workshop...

Just thought I'd follow up on this posting. Fernando said he believed it to be glass wool. Well I recently bought a copy of the SNL for the ST-5 and ST-6 shopvans and inside it refers to fibreglass as the material between the skins... so no asbestos (and as mentioned, the asbestos sheet was near where the shopbody genny would be)
