OK, I will ask: The bracket across the frame is for a stablizer I think so you would have the same on the other side, so where is/was the fuel tank?

Mick how far past VE day is the crane setup. Was it Swedish Military or a Civy Convert.
This basic truck with all it's adaptations never ceases to amaze me.

Looking at my manual (if it's the same Quickway crane as my one) "Maximum load with outriggers 13,000lb's" at 10' radius

Are you sure you have the right crane-truck? That is a LOT for a CCKW chassis. My Schield-Bantam is only good for 6,000 lbs max with the boom in close. Remember, that is the truck, crane and 13,000 lbs load.
Quickway also made the one on the 6 ton Brockway truck of WW2. Maybe those are the specs/crane you are looking at?
Maybe John didn't read the bill of sale when I sold it to him and the "conditions in the 'when restored paint color section'.....

Not sure Doc, as I said 13,000lb's in my maual but only if it's the same Quickway crane as my one, I did not know they make smaller ones.dr deuce wrote:Are you sure you have the right crane-truck?
Looking at the boom it don't look as chuncky as my one.
