Re: Picture of the Week 9/3/2012
Hehe, yes Barry.
This is our member and my friend Grease Monkey working on his truck. I was taking the picture during a short ride over our North Bavarian countryside. It was a very hot summer day (35° Celsius). We drove only a few hundred meters when Greasy noticed his trucks engine almost boiling. Fortunately his temp gauge is in good order. He was working on the engine before the ride and forgot to put back the disconnected fan belt.
But the wrench from my toolbag fixed that in no minute. And so we could finish our ride without further problems.
Regards,
Chris

Wow! That's a really great photo! My father's side of the family was all originally from Bavaria in the 1700 and 1800's. I have to go there some day.

That is a great photo showing the different profile between the 353 and 352.

It's great to see Chris and his buddies out for a drive on a summer day. Like horses, they need to be exercised. The trucks, not Chris.

Hehe, thank you Barry. But mostly it seems the trucks exercise us.
