Can any one tell me the series of the hydrovac in my DUKW and the new one I am thinking of replacing it with. Any information or insights would be welcome.

Thanks David Welch

From memory

Twin cylinder, valve on one end, piston on the other = 1st series

Twin cylinder, valve and piston on the same end = 2nd series

Single cylinder, valve and piston on the same end = later replacement

So the NOS one is a first series and the used one is a second or late one?
