General Eisenhower singled out the CCKW as being one of the most important vehicles to contribute to victory in Europe.

General Patton said "The 2 & 1/2 ton Truck Is Our Most Valuable Weapon" and…
A former Quartermaster put it "without fuel, a tank is a 65-ton paperweight."
