top bow wood

Post by John D »

I now have the curved top pieces and the steel corners, but I don't have the upright wood that holds the corners. Can anyone tell me the length of the upright wood pieces that attach to the steel bow corners? Thanks,

John

Depends upon the tarp you are using.

Do you have an original CCKW tarp or a new one from Beachwood etc?

Are you using an M211/M35 tarp?

Are you using an M135/M34 tarp?

Best way to go are the steel vertical stakes, they were used in WWII and are current on M-35s. They save a lot of work while correctly positioning the bow corners. I can supply Fresh Gov't Spec CCKW Cargo Cover that is made by a Gov't contractor, and not a repro dealers that claim they are Gov't contractors. This will be a limited deal and the Canvas will be the Dark OD as used in WWII thru 70s.

I was given a tarp of a more modern truck, but I'm not sure what model. Is there some way to tell?
