PILLOW BLOCK
Do not forget to service it. Most were converted to use Chassis Grease by the addition of a Grease fitting, and the use of GO-90 was eliminated. The Change came into effect around 1943-1944. There may be some that were overlooked, or ahad the installation of a replacement that was not converted. GMC had a service bulletin that was distributed to the Army at the time and the change was incorporated into the TMs and LOs of the time period. LOs were continually updated until the 50s.
