No matter where these are found, they all died the same way, by lack of professional care, and were driven til they just plain wore out. Many of these were parked years ago, when there were sufficient stocks of NOS parts to repair them. Supreme Surplus, Ring Bros, Firestone, Kaufmans, and Sarafan were all within reasonable travel distance to this one, and they had nearly 100% coverage of parts up to early 70s. Sadly, those places are gone now.We were good customers of theirs for 40 years.

NOTE THE HUBS, they will surely drive the price up, hope they still work.

You guys are so lucky up there. Even with the stuff on Ebay it is all in the North Eastern part of the country. We just don't have the access down here. Parts and salvagable trucks for restoration.
We have one guy here that has a restored 1 1/2 ton Chevy but he got into restoring a 1941 Ford Staff car and has spent all his energy on that and now it is his pride and joy. Easy to drive, a whole better gas milage and always draws a crowd.

Thats true Doc, but then we don[t have any old military vehicles to salt rot away . Down on the Gulf coast that is a different story. The temps are so warm and the Gulf of Mexico is so salty, rot out is a major problem there, especially if you spend a lot of time driving on the beach.
