Wall small tent

Post by Ledog »

It's not a CCKW part, but, I'm looking for a Wall Small tent, even without the poles and ridge.

TENT, FIRE-RESISTANT, WALL, SMALL, OLIVE-DRAB, Stock No. 24-T-323

I'm also looking for accessories for the M-1941 tent stove. Like pipes, pipes elbows, shield plate, spark arrestor, etc..

CRAIG, I understand that 77/AA would get first chance at the tent you have,, as he ask first... but if he is not interested, one of my guys probaley are, as they keep asking me if I know of any, what are you asking for it? I live here in the midwest and it wouldn't be that bad at shipping...thank you...M.M.

I'll let it to you mmoore!

It would be far to expensive for me, especially for shipping.
I would prefer a tent canvas only, without poles and ridge as I already have them. I'll have to wait to have more money.

Thank you for your proposition Craig!

I'm still looking for the M-1941 stove accessories, such as pipe sections, pipe elbows, spark arrestor, tent shield with oval hole, etc...

I have a M-1942 squad tent, two M-1941 tent stoves with pipes only for one. And I have a kind of X-small wall tent that has been made with some period canvas, like individual pup tents sewn together.

I understand. Just for the record though what do you think would be a reasonable price?

Craig, well some of guys in our reenactment org. have been lucky enough to find some WW-2 wall tents for 300 to 400, but they are the OD type, some boy scout unit got some of them after the war, and now I guess they are updateing. and they may be all gone by now, but good luck to you Craig.

777 AAA,
There is a small wall tent on Ebay right now, a friend of mine gave me a heads up on it yesterday. There was about a day and a half on the auction, $250.00 was the bid at the time I looked at it last night. You might want to check it out if you are stil looking for one. I wont be bidding as I already got one last month.
ATW,
Doc Britton.

Small wall tent

Post by Craig »

Was the tent clearly marked and dated? Does it have a pair of cots clearly marked and dated? Does it have a matching pair of WW2 officers down bags? Does it have all poles pins and ropes? Is it OD or very early WW2 tan Khaki ? It makes a very big differance.
