Oil filter

Post by Chappers »

Is there a modern day oil filter equivalent for the CCKW,or any other MV for that matter. The reason I ask is that a 1978 Mercedes van oil filter made by FRAM (GERMAN OIL FILTER IN A US TRUCK   ) fits a Dodge WC51. What I would like to do is compile a list of equivalents/part numbers/manufactures for Spark plugs ,oil filters, points etc
If you know of any please post on here

Chappers you can find a crossover list on the face page. Just scroll down to find what you need. I don't remember if the oil filter is on there but a lot of other parts are.

Yes Please Gunny
What I would like to do is get all the cross reference part numbers for most military vehicles and build a data base. It took my local parts department nearly 15 mins and several phone calls to cross reference an oil filter for a Dodge, don't want this to happen again.
