Hi guys. I have been doing mucho research into the K-53. Here's a spreadsheet I made of the equipment that the different versions (six as far as I can tell) that used SCR radio sets...
If anyone has or knows anyone who has any of the components listed in the below list please let me know... I need them!!!
I will keep my eyes open for you. When I had my 43 GPW I accidently came across a set of radios for it at a local flea market and they were cheap. If I run across anything I will PM you.

Hi, it is from a manual entitled "Signal Section Air Service Command - VHF Fighter Control Equipment Handbook." It was produced by Signal Section, Air Service Command, Patterson Field, Fairfield, OH.
If you want a copy I will give you the contact information of the person who sold it to me as it is a very nice repro.
Does anyone know if the trailer in the first picture is a Ben Hur just relabled as a K- series trailer?
The genset is the PE99 which is physically much smaller than the PE95 (10kw) that the SCR-299 and SCR-399 used. It looks about the same size as my M5 3kw 3 phase WW2 genset

I went looking for a Ben Hur trailer that I saw a year or so ago in a neighborhood a few miles away. I couldn't find it though... but I know of another one that's not too far away...
